Descent is a legendary FPS PC game released in 1995.  Destroy enemy ships with innovative weaponry, barrel-roll your way past enemy bots with 360 degrees of motion, and hold on for the ride of your life.  Descent 2 was released in 1996 featuring more levels, new weapons, and an afterburner!  Descent 3, the final game in the series, was released in 1999. Featuring true 3D rendering, new ships, and new weapons, it is arguably the most action-packed of the three.  Play all three in single player for a good story or play them online for free. All you need is a computer, the game, and Internet access. And yes, this series is still actively played online!
